New question here. Few Tech Questions

    1. When installed a 20mil. axle into the hub should I grease it?

    2. Can I install the crown race with a pipe and creativity?

    3. For a singlespeed setup what gearing would you reccomend.
    I plan on either-
    32-16
    32-14
    38-?
I hope to use the smaller front ring and I need a lot of speed because you gotta crank pretty hard to clear my jumps. In other words I am more concerned about top speed.

    Thanks

I'd use the pipe and heavy hammer trick....that's how I got mine straight. Just pull the pipe off and check to see it's going on straight every couple taps. Worked well for me.
You have bleed with Wallace.....now bleed with me!

    1. I was always told to put a tad bit of grease on the axle.... I can see how it would be nessecary, and how it wouldnt... its your call..
    2. after reading that question over and over I still dont understand it...

There's no need to grease the axle.

You can install the crown race using a hammer and a screwdriver, just make sure it comes down evenly.

With SS, try running twice as many teeth up front as you have in the rear. And then play around with it from there. Atleast that's how I always figured it out on my BMX bikes.

you're supposed to smoke with the pipe, not bang on it........
