    Entertainer Status (Way NorCal)

    Yo local yokels:

    How much snow is there?

Will you be able to camp/ride from the spot (Bunny Flats?) where it starts getting good in 2 weeks? If not can you please start shoveling it? Please? I love that trail.

My bad, Bunny is much higher than I wanted.

Lunch rock? Is that the campgoundish area you ride through before the trail hits those tight rocky chutes? That is the money spot I am hoping is clear!

4 mile and Washout are open, but not much above that. 4' of snow at the start of 8 mile.

Hahaha... I think we both have different names for similar spots. Lunch Rock is the campground where all the big boulders are and a few jumps. Right after that is the steep chute style section that I call "Sandbox."

Do you call 8 mile the road that takes you to the weather station? (In the meadow above?)

is Friday stage 1 of the Super-D?

a buddy snapped this picture yesterday. He was skiing, in June, in California.

He said snow is down to 5,000 feet.

Weather station is 10 mile. 8 mile can be easily missed if you don't know where to look, from the road anyway. Either way it's all Entertainer, right?

You are correct sir, Friday is stage #1 of the Cal-gon Super D.

Last year the Shasta stage was so epic we almost didn't make it to A Land.

I am stoked to hear it will be open. There is even word of a new jump section to investigate.

Update: I hear that 8 mile is pretty much open except for a few patches of snow and some downed trees, locals are trying to get it cleared. Can't wait to get up there and ride. YeeHaw.
