    E2 headset with boxxers

    hi guys,
    whats the best and light headset solution if you want to run standard 1.125 boxxers with an E2 headtube?

    I think you can use a 1.5 Headset on the bottom, and a 1 1/8th on the top. But I'm not really sure...Trek may have put some funny business in that E2 headtube.

    Are you looking for a more complicated answer than "Get the Cane Creek 1.5" to 1-1/8" reducer from your local Trek dealer"?

    There are other companies that make reducers. A Google search of "1.5 headtube reducer" turned up a few.

    Nothing funny about it. Other than the headtube being two different sizes. Trek sells the reducer for US$14.

    oh I didnt know Cane crekk did a specialized one- I assume that is 1.5-1.125 reducer on the bottom cup and normal 1.125 on the top then???
    ill look into it
