    Hi!

I just got my first FR/DH bike and I can use a Chain Guide...(dual ring)

Dose anyone know if E13 DRS will fit to Kona Stinky 2008?

also, I dont know what is the meaning of "4x104 bcd"

    Thanks!

I believe you will need an ISCG adapter plate. But yeah, it should work.
    Slow is cool too, right?

You need the ISCG/e-type adapter if you intend to use the ISCG backplate. There's also a e-type version.

4x104BCD is the mounting pattern for the chainring/bashguard.

    Another brands

    Thanks you all for replying!

I just saw that the e.bay sale is close to the NEW retail price (for used equipment).
Is there another brands for chain guides that are work well with dual plate?

what are the difference between the two:

MRP LRP Alloy ISCG 05 chainguide, 34-38 tooth

Bicycle Bike Double Chain Guide Adjustable New ISCG

    thanks!

    Hey SHR,
I'm pretty sure that up until 09 the Stinky doesn't have ISCG tabs at all. My 06 sure doesn't have tabs.

You essentially need to order up the ISCG-OLD version of the DRS. The ISCG-OLD backplate is also bottom bracket mount compatible, so that it will replace your drive side 2.5mm bottom bracket spacer and clamp down between the BB cup and the BB shell.

The DRS won't work with an ISCG adapter, because the adapter adds 5mm of width to the guide setup. This will cause the granny ring bolts to bottom out into the backplate when you try to reinstall your cranks.

This is all outlined in the instructions included with the guide, so everything you'll need is right there.

    Hope this clarifies things!

    Cheers, philip
