Dropper post for split frames (Norco A line)

    Hi,

I have a 2007 Norco A line which has a split frame below the seat post. Can I mount a dropper post on such a bike? If yes, what model/brand?

    Thx

It's a downhill bike that had no intention of being pedalled sitting down. No reason you couldn't fit one providing the bottom clears the suspension but it's a waste of money and effort on a bike that should be pushed up.

I know, but on our local track I have to pedal quite a lot to get back to the uplift, so it would be beneficial

as long as your not sticking out the bottom , interfering with your suspension, go for it if you want. you'll be told its silly quite a bit because its incredibly uncommon but i find my self riding my DH rig a lot and end up having to pedal more than it is built for...i get it. i have considered it and i would if i were you.
