Yes black is better for freeriding and white for downhill.

36 on a driver 8 would be retarded

I'd much rather ride a Boxxer than a 36 on that frame....

Why would a Totem be better? Don't they both have about the same A to C length, so the geo wouldn't change much. . .

Slightly lighter. X-ups. Tailwhips. X-ups and Tailwhips. Cheaper.

Come on man, get with the times. Single crown for freeride, dual crown for DH. Much of it is personal preference but 99 out of 100 times you ask me for freeride I would prefer a 7" single crown fork.

For my Driver8.I went with a 2010 RockShox Boxxer World Cup/short crown.I am also getting a new RockShox Totem Solo air. The best of both worlds DH-Boxxer,FR-Totem can't go wrong.I can't wait for my Driver8 to come in.

i thought about getting both also. i was going to get the 1 1/8 totem first and see if it would do the trick. are you going to use the 1 1/8 steerer for the totem.

If you fit a King 1.5 headset you can use both steerer sizes. Don't waste a 1.5 frame on a 11/8 steerer sc fork. My Nomad showed a huge difference in stiffness with a 1.5 36.

I will be going with the 1.5 RockShox Totem Solo Air. Q- A MAN CALLED HORSE about the CK 1.5 headset can the Crane Creek 1.5 do the same thing. The reason I ask is, I have the CC-1.5 on both my Intense Tracer Vpp and my NomadMKII I really like that head set. P.S A MAN CALLED HORSE is spot on about the 1.5. I think its a great set up.The only time I would run a 1 1/8 is with the 2010 RockShox Boxxer WC 35mm legs because I have no choice.

I've heard you've been peeping my facebook pictures of my sister, and sending them around to people.

P.S. My sister is older than you, has more tattoos than you'll ever have, and she can kick your ass. So I'd watch my back if I were you. Don't be afraid of me. Be afraid of her. She's feisty!

    Meh.
