Don't you think this would help.

This is taken from BJ's signature:

There is no way of knowing how old a thread is. Sometimes the reply count will give an indication. It would be nice if we had the date of each post listed w/it.

    Just my opinion.

After you click on it & wait on it to open up it does. I'm talkin' about a date on the list of posts on each forums page. Like the old forums used to show. It allowed you show all of the members that replied & decide if the post was lame off the bat. Everyone has gone to the same format mtbr has. Very few forums out there now are different from this one. Most of them are puttin' a stop to the anger & flaming. Kinder, gentler & conservative compassion.

well you have to open the thread anyways, just have to look at the last post. Plus it seems some browse through the pages....if your answering to something on page 7 then somethings wrong...

yeah, cus the nimrod pulled it out of the old pile in the first place.

its simple, you look at the date of the last post which is listed on the main page also.

Date of last post indicates nothing about the inital post date. My whole point is : you have to OPEN the post to find out it is old and beat to death. It would be nice to look @ the post & see its inital post date. 'nuff said. Thanks fer listenin' Zedro.

whatever, if somone asks for opinions, then all opinions are valid. this is a review site for infomation, and all relevant info, no matter how old the thread it is added to is, can be useful for the next person making the same decisions.......

that's like saying one revew per item in the review section is sufficient......

generally peeps dont take notice, but then alot of the old revivals i've seen have been pretty shallow, ie. "ya get the 'X' it really rocks" when the guy asking for the advice did so like 6 months ago and hasent been on the site since....

not sure why this thread was started, its not like its a huge problem. There was like a particular week for some reason it kept happening but thats all.

5 secs I don't have to waste on cute lil' belittling, degrading replys to legitimate posts that are posted by those who need help & info & aren't able to devote every waking sec. to mtnb. I can't say that I've ever met anyone that said they were helped & inspired by someone trashing them & degrading them because they want to improve what they do.
I was under the impression that is what this site is maintained for.
