does this seem weird to anyone else?

so i was thumbing through the new issue of DECLINE today and i flip to the park contest looking for some good pics.
to my surprise i see chris donahue in several picks riding an Imperial.
does this seem weird to any of you guys?
if he and Evil bikes went through the trouble of designing and producing his own model of street/jump specific frame, why doesn't he ride it?
at first i thought maybe its not off the production line but i know from and ealier post that one guy working at Evil already has his DOC frame...
not to mention that it looks as though nigel quarless was riding a black DOC frame in the exact same comp (there is a picture on the opposite page in DECLINE).
granted if i had the money, i would be order an Imperial and not a DOC but my point is still the same, why go to all the trouble? or is it just a marketing gimmick?

You are being judged by the way you post, whether you like it or not, and aolese conveys the fact that you're ("ur") not too bright.

p.s. The video was uninspiring, repetitious, and not very interesting. But at least he took the time to make one, unlike so many other folks.

that still doesn't explain the other bike from the same comp.

maybe he did something to his DOC that made it unrideable and had an imperial already built up.......
