    does any body know the weight on a marzocchi drop off triple?

    i just got a boxxer race and im wondering the weight difference is between the marzocchi drop off triple and the boxxer race
    can anybody help me with this?

    He's talking about a drop off triple, not a drop off 3. two entirely different forks.

    as the drop off triple is a complete POS, it's naturally gonna weigh a ton. think 3500g+

    drop off triple is 3020 grams which is 6.657 lbs. I didn't know there was a difference regardless all the info is on Marz's website.

    That is without the steerer tube as with all weights on Marz's site, so add 250g or so onto that.

    dude...do not pay $400.00 for a drop off triple. They're made by sr suntour, not marzocchi. sure they dont weigh much, but they're one of the worst forks marzocchi ever made.

    You can get a brand new 888VF for $299.99 http://wheelworld.com/itemdetails.cf...gId=39&id=3466

    even then, the technology in both forks is NOT worth even $200.00 Get yourself a new boxxer or something much nicer.

    yea 400 for a boxxer race
    my bke came stock with the triple
    i hated that fork since the minute i got it
    had air leaks and everything
    i finally gave up on it
    and got a boxxer race
    love that fork excet its a little stiff
    but ive only got like 15 runs on it

    okay good, Sorry about that guys, I misread. I thought he was saying "hey great! I'll save close to a pound with going with a dropoff" its only $400.00 :P

    again, sorry. and to the OP, yea, boxxer race is the way to go.

    drop off triples suck spend a little more and buy a 888 or boxxer buy used because people cant stop replacing there forks after a year.
