    Dissent 2.5 WTB Tire

Rode this tire around the pump track & it had no slide going through the corners. Now the pump track is not the real world it can be challenging to negotiate because of the very tight area. If the track is swept & maintained it's like cherry picking on a perfectly groomed track. Took a ride today with Atlas & the New tread on 1 of my favorite loops Dominican. This tire is Fast compared to the
    Maxxis
    Minnion
i normally ride, were talking very fast not just a little faster. Single track along the hillside is awesome, you can do whatever you want with the front end on this tire it responds to input extremely well. Hitler is a mine field of silt & rocks the size of golf balls to rocks the size of a soft ball. The Dissent plowed through this section with authority, very little movement from the front end almost like a hot knife through butter. If you like a front tire that gives you confidence in braking without skidding & washing out the Dissent
    excels
at this. Very controlled braking when descending, you can jab the brake before a corner & rip out with ease. I did get it to slide on 1 corner but it was a mix of pine needles & leaf's but the slide was very smooth & easy, jabbed the right foot down & all was cool.

If your riding AM or DH i would highly recommend this tire in the front. Haven't run it in the back yet.

I'm too poor to be replacing tires so often...they look VERY VERY sweet.

My WTB motoraptor in 60a is still rocking after a year of constant riding..

Minnion 2.3 rear. Had a Minnion Fr 2.3 up front previously & it was Ok. Granted going to a 2.5 is a big change but i run a Minnion 2.5 on the Blitz II & the Dissent feels faster & smoother.

It looks like it has less material on the knobs than the Minion, so it will probably last less. I have a Minion DHF 2.5 60a and it is an excelent tire, but I'm also looking for something in the back... (maybe a highroller)

    HighRollers rock in the rear.

Im running the Minnion DHF 3C 2.5 on the Blitz II. I will be trying this tire on the front of the Blitz II soon as a 2nd compairison.

There is way more knob on the Dissent over the Minnion & the Dissent so far is a better tire all around.
