    dh wheel upgrade

    Hello everyone.

Looking to upgrade my stock wheels to something a little nicer to drop a little weight. They are 26" and I was just wondering about suggestions, comments, horror stories, ect. What should I be looking for?

    Thanks in advance.

I have 823's and they have been running strong for 3 years or so. Going to lighten up a little and run dt 471 or stans flows next. I'm not a janky rider and lost some weight so hopefully I can get away with them.

I have had great experience with Canfield DH wheels. Not sure on weight but those things are smooth and super strong....not to mention inexpensive.

Can you tell me more about the hub on canfield please. Do you know how many POE on the hub? The website only said 3 paws but didn't mention the POE. I am very interesting since they have a 50% sale right now.

It's 24 poe I believe and they are so smooth. I beat the heck outta mine and never serviced them....never an issue. I know everyone wants 1000 poe and super loud. These are neither and really never noticed. I have an older set but the newer ones have lighter and stronger rims.....plus they look awesome and Canfield crew is amazing.... I'm 230lbs and ride harsh for reference. I had some dt fr600 and couldn't keep them true....Canfields got slightly out after 30mph to broken wrist.
