    DH Tire Removal Issue

I have a full DH casing Highroller on my rear deemax wheel. I am running it tubeless with Stans in as sealant. Hadn't ridden the bike in several months and have a slow leak, so I am trying to take the tire off and replace the sealant. The tire has been sealed to the inside of the rim with the old sealant like glue and I can't get it off even with a metal tire lever. Any ideas? I was thinking about trying soap and water. Thanks for the help.

Maybe try a using set of large pliers/channel locks to compress the bead? Or just see if you can get the sealant in thru the valve stem (not much fun if you don't have a removable core...)

why not just push sealant through the valve?

or use a needle injector through the tire (don't like that method myself though..)?

Lay the wheel on the ground (pick a spot with some give like grass or the lawn), and walk around the tire like it was a tightrope. Be careful you do this carefully and get your weight on the bead vs the rim, spokes, or rotor. When one side is free flip the wheel over and repeat.

If you're running the Mavic UST valve stems I would remove the core and inject the sealant through there.
