    Demo 7 trailable?

is it possible to make my 2008 demo 7 a little more trailable? if so, how? change sus components? change tires? i understand that it is a freeride bike but if there is anything that can be done what is it? any feedback is appreciated

air shock, lighter tires and rims, lighter single crown fork, different gearing.....lighter cranks....

wait..... for same price you could own a great used trail bike

Try it and you'll see if you find it fun or if it's too heavy.

I've been riding a 38 pound 7" travel Norco Shore with coil suspension and Maxxis EXO tires as a do-everything bike for a few seasons, and it is definately doable. But after 3 years of struggling on XC rides, I got a dedicated trail bike for these rides and it feels like a liberation.
