    Deity Components

Im confused with their components. Are the cranks isis splined? Also, can the sprocket be used with any crank arms or do they have to be Deity? Thanks for clearing it up.

Cranks are standard 48t spline. sprocket can be use with any bmx-style crank. the splined sprocket would need a 48t splined bb.

From what I understand the Deity's use there own spindle and are not 'standard' - ie the profile spindle is a hair too small (or too big, I dont recall) and can be assembled with them, but is not 'good'... hope thats vague enugh for ya!

Now to go for that all white bike setup someone mentioned in another thread. Deity Bars, Stems, Cranks, White DJ1 (or custom painted/powdered fork), Halo SAS white; Black post, pedals, Seat, Headset (are there any white HS out there?), Black Hubs (unless a white alternate is out there!)

well, DC's site reads "is compatible with any 19mm bottom bracket spindle...48t splined mounts directly to a 48t x 19mm spindle". Profile's bb spindle is .75", which is 19.05mm. i don't know how much .05mm is really going to affect things.

yeah its funny how manufacturers use 19mm and 3/4" (19.05mm) interchangably...i believe the bearings used are metric tho, so 19.05 would not fit.

Also it could be just different manufacturing tolerances between the 48t splines; ISIS has that problem were different companies bbs and crank combos dont work so well
