what's even more impressive to me is how well he can still handle his bike while maintaining that kind of speed in all that slop and mud. Excellent run!

Warner and Pagey kill it. Not only do they convey the excitement, they actually know what it is like to run down a pro DH course at race pace.

"how does danny even sit down with balls that big"

mtbr removes caps lock...its hard to convey warner's excitement without caps.

Did anyone hear the bit earlier in the race day where Nigel said something about the riding looking like Michael Jackson on the dancefloor...Warner yells back "why dont you leave the one-liners to me nigel" ahahah

That was a crazy race, Hart was absolutely amazing.

But.. at the splits Gwin was only .9 down when he slid off into a fence... I dont understand how gwin does it hart beats everyone by 11 seconds gwin doesnt even look fast. he is so crazy smooth. He had a chance at harts time. ( that section where hart slid and the announcers yelled ohhh danny stay on your bike.. thats where gwin was .9 down and went into the fence as they went over that wood thing )

Crazy race it was worth the money to watch it just to see dannys run.

another version sound and color looks better.

And those announcers are awesome. I watched all of the races this year and warner is a riot. You would have had to see the rest of the race to understand why they were going so bonkers.

Thank you for posting this. I was wondering if I would ever see the full run. Kid was running so cool through all of that. Like C2 said, almost no foot dabs. Nice one danny

That's for posting the links to the vids. Fantastic riding and hilarious announcing. I'm sure listening to the announcers all day might get tired, but for that run they were perfect.
"oooooh Danny STAY on YOUR BIKE...". Too damn funny.

oh man....work computer has no sound.... I get home and holy crap , warner is going nuts. The 1st 5 seconds when he gets up to speed is frightening. The Giant team manager lives down the street from me. Everyone is so proud of Danny ! Giant is selling lots of glories now

    Sickness!! Now that's proper hardcore.

+1 on turning the volume down though, I like color commentary but not so much the yelling. I understand the excitement so it's understandable, just not my cup of tea.

The vid that's clearer quality is awesome. The lunatic excitement of Warner makes me want to jump up and screaming especially at around 2 minutes when Hart is hitting those muddy switchbacks so fast n' smooth. Impressive as hell! I hope he gets mulitple podiums next year; a battle between Hart & Gwin would be killer.

I thought that too, then remembered I failed the commentator's advise...stay on the bike! I was on the ground more than I was on the bike during a rain storm at Trestle

Wow, that was a hell of a run in terrible conditions. Who throws a whip that big when the world championship is on the line. He must have known he was stomping the competition.

    What a great run!

With the few close calls you can tell he was having a all or nothing run and it paid off for him.
