    Cracked Frame?

I've been having this really annoying creak everytime i ride or when i bounce on the rear suspension. I noticed that the cables made some noise, but I don't know? Could I have a crack on my frame, and if so is my bike completely screwed?

If the bike still makes the noise when you are standing (seats and seat post are notorious for creaking sounds) check all the welds on you frame. How old is your bike? What is the frame made of? Give us more info...possibly pics. What you posted is too vague.

Suspension bikes require a good bit of maintenance to keep them quiet, a crack is possible but not the first thing I'd look for. You can take the whole thing apart and clean your pivots, then check to see if it's still creaky.

Its 4yrs young, but it was a rental. The Manager at the LBS said their quad bikes never really got that much abuse and by the look of the frame and paint job the bike looked good. I've had it for about a year now and have givin it some beatin'. Haven't really had a proper tune up because I'v been trying to do it myself. The noise seems to be coming from the bottom tube, maybe the pivot?

first re-greasr and tighten th bottom bracket, then check shock mounts, then pivots, then for cracks

Make sure all the bearing/bushing pivots are tight to the recommended torque settings. With all those pivots, it is probable that at least one is loose by now.

If that doesn't fix it, start replacing bearings/bushing or lube them, depending on what is needed on that frame.

Curious as to what bottom bracket you have? The Truvativ ones make a creaking noise, or at least 3 of mine did...

Not sure if that is the problem or not.
