I don't see avid changing to mineral oil, so yeah, any DOT fluid except 5 should work, ie 3,4,5.1.

Have no idea on the pads.

Yes I believe the pads are different now.
Universal Cycles .com lists different years for the pads.

It has been a while since your last post Saber. Glad to see you back on the boards. Avid recommends dot 5.1 fluid.

It has been a while since my last post because im planning to write down my last passionate post here....A big goodbye to MTBR......Ill still be here for tech's

But im glad to say we have established our own persian MTB site & forum.....and we are growing good .
I have done it with a friends help who is a computer and network engineer also a rider himself

Also i am about to found my own LBS and the first Iranian online bike store...!

Mountain biking has changed and evolved so much during the past 3 years here that we have investigated many many local dealers......

The main deler of middle east for Sram ......dealer for specialized ....scott ..and many many more
Last month we had our downhiller finishing 5TH in the Asians....Also our junior XC rider won the bronze.....We have gained a reservation on one athlete for Londons 2012 Olympics in XC.

The number of our riders through out the country has outraged....Multiplicities have been founding BMX parks and dirt jump yards ........

Posting on MTBR as a lonely rider in the forgotten kingdom is no longer valid.......

We are here ...we have made our dreams come true......our MTB society has grown up in quality and quantity to a acceptable level.......

I will try to show some of these in my good by post.....

Good luck with the new website and shop, and keep us updated with the scene in Iran, I enjoy seeing the progression of the sport from different locations around the globe.
