    Cheap Hardtails

I already have a Kona Stinky but I get ticked because it has so much sag. I'm thinking of buying a pretty cheap hardtail, not that I don't have the money to get a good one, but because I won't want to mind when it's covered in mud.
Now, I'm thinking of getting a Specialized Rockhopper, or a Kona Scrap. Which one?

    Dirty bike

mountain biking and dirt go hand in hand, if your worried about your bike getting dirty keep it in the garage and try golfing!

I dont mean to shoot oyu down, but how about you keep riding the Stinky and either get used to it or find a way to fix the problem, or if you really hate it and want to get rid of it thats ok as long as you give it to me!

Anyhow I have a P2 and I like it, I would rather have a Stinky, but my P2 does the job.

P2 would be the best bet for your money. Giant STP might be nice also, haven't heard much about them yet. Here's a $400 03 P2 from ridemonkey that I found while surfing..

    is making a comeback.

Turns out that five years of not mountain biking, really makes one strive to get back to it.
