New question here. Chaparall build suggestions?

How's this for an all-around/FR build? Anything you'd change, and why?

    Frame: 04 Chaparall w/ romic
    Fork: 'Zoke Z1.1 Freeride 150mm
    Wheels: Azonic Outlaws
Cranks: FSA V-Drives? Holzfellers? RF (or other) X-types? (help) 24/36 rings w/bash
Headset: FSA Pig (Synchros FR2 if I can afford it)
    Shifers: SRAM x-9
    RD: SRAM x-9
    FD: SRAM (or whatever)
    Cass: SRAM 11-34
    Chain: SRAM
    Stem: FSA FR?
    Bars: Protaper
    Brakes: Magura Louise FR
Tires: High Rollers? Kenda Blue Groove?
    Pedals: Azonic A-Frames
    Grips: ODI lock ons

The frame comes with a post, and I'm not sure which seat yet, but any other glaring omissions?

you can't br serious about the supermonster...

that's 300 mm of travel... i don't even think he needs a 66... but a 150 mm 66 would be cool... otherwise he should stay w/ the z1...

also, deffinatly get trailpimp rims.... outlaws are HEAVY..

    nice build tho.

Holzfellers are sweet i would do with some cheeper wheels like single tracks on hope hubs.I would also throw a DRS on it with a 36 24 set up

If you're going to pedal it (you mention "all-around") I'd try to make the drivetrain and wheels as light as is prudent. As always you can get light / strong / cheap pick any two.
By the way, it says "BALLS" on yor face

Really? Why not hydros? I ride in a lot of mud (gettin' muddy is synonymous with biking for me) - wont that lead to all kinds of cable issues?

I'll probably be flamed for recommending mechs, but to each his own.

I like em cuz they're easy to work on and replace and they're NEARLY as strong as hydros.

I'm in N. GA and there's plenty of nice thick gooey red clay mud, and I don't have any issues with the cables.

The key is to get good sealed cables like Avid Flak Jackets.

Mechs are a little less weight too which is nice on a "all-arounder".
