Challenge Park (big pics 56k warning)

We visited Challenge Park Xtreme this past weekend. Tons of fun stuff to hit. It had a nice amount of stuff to do. It cost $7 to get in but its well worth it. Its got a good variety of things to hit, skinnys, jumps, slalom, dirt jumps, drops, and a lot more. I prefer natural hits personally but most of the stuff is man made but its still a ton of fun.

    Very cool. Nice riding.

Looks like they've been putting some work into that place. I haven't been there myself, but have some friends that have ridden there in the past couple seasons, and it looks like the quality of stunts has increased.

    I live in Naperville!

Illinois really isn't a vacation spot. It's boring.

I haven't been to CPX in a while. Hopefully I'll get to take our demo Ransom LTD down there.

its a fun pace but i would never consider Illinois as a vacation spot, just cause of CPX its not worth it to ride there if u live more then a few hours away. but never the less its a sickly sic place to ride and those pics dont showe even half of the stuff there. next time i go up ill try to get pics of all the stuff.

Thanks mtb_biker, after seeing the pics in this thread, ben and I decided to make the drive down to Challenge Park. We were there the day before thanksgiving, it was awesome. The trails were a little muddy in some places, but we had a great time. Overall I was impressed with the quality of the riding. Some really fun jumps and bridges. Here are a couple pics.

    Orange shirt- Me
    Brown shirt- Ben
White shirt- Dan (met him there, cool guy, showed us around)

The first four pics are of my favorite line. Long bridge to a 7 foot drop, followed immediately by a 16.5 foot gap jump which sets you up for 2 really sweet long berms which lead into a fun step-up onto a bridge with a little drop at the end.

Picture 1: bridge to nice drop
    Picture 2: gap jump
Picture 3: cool step up to bridge to little drop
Picture 4: Shows the drop, gap jump, and first berm

Nice pics! Yea that line is fun and you can session that for a good bit. It was a bit muddy when i went as well which made for some more skilled jumping

I like the dirt jump line personally and then the step down where you can hit between 25 - 35ft. Tons of fun.
