    Caution;  Merge;  Workers Ahead! can ans '05 vanilla fork fit a 2.5 tire?

    i was wondering if a 2005 fox vanilla fork could fit a 2.5 tire, becuz i was thinking of getting 1 off of pricepoint but i was not sure if it would fit, so help would be good.

    i dunno abot the o5's but the o4's can't

    check fox's website and look at the manual for the o5

    Strange, my '03 vanilla (same as the '04) can easily fit 2.5 tires. I'm sure 2.5s fit on the 05 as well.

    I have a minion 2.5 up front on my 05. There is quite a bit of clearance too. Not sure why the manual says 2.4s are the limit. We don't need no stinkin manuals!

    well on my second post the guy said that he couldd fit the 04 vanilla on his 2.5 twolf tire an that is exactly wut i have so 04 vanillas here i come!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I think people need to remember that not all tires are measured the same way. For example, a 2.5 Maxxis will be MUCH smaller than a 2.5 Intense.

    This is a 2005 Vanilla, I run WTB 2.4's (which are really 2.3) with no clearance issues.

    The angle in the pic is a bit misleading. I would say the tightest part is closer to 3 1/8 inches not the 3 1/4 it appears.
