    Brake [email protected]!!

    hello
    i have hayes hfx hydrolic 9 disc brakes, and when i press my back breaks lightly they seem to make a moning sound.. the brake pads are not worn out or anything.. do u think it would be a good idea to rotate my rear pads to my front and vice verca

    Try cleaning off your rotors and pads with alcohol. If the pads looks glazed, you can remove the glaze by lightly sanding it. If you contaminated the pads (hydraulic fluid, oil, lube, grease, etc) try soaking them in alcohol and burning the contaminents out. I usually just replace pads if I get lube or hydraulic fluid on them.

    Also make sure that the caliper is positioned correctly.
