    BMX 24t front sprocket?

    hi all,

i have a bud who is looking for a 24t front sprocket for his bmx bike. he does not want to use mtb cranks though, so it's gotta be a BMX-SPROCKET.

    so, can someone tell me:

    who makes such a product?
where can i get one (on the 'net would be great!)?
about good BMX forum where i might find this info?

    a million thanks, fellas.

most bmx spiders are 110bcd so you'd probably have run one that will take a triple and either put a bashring on it or chop down the outer arms. if you don't have to use a chainring there are alot of companies now making 25t sprokets, those are a dime a dozen on danscomp.

yeah, 25t and 27t are easy to find, but this cat specifically asked for a 24t. i figure i really gotta try to hook him up since he just GAVE me a set of prof-racing cranks.

oh, i guess the proper technical-BMX jargon is 'sprocket.'

it would have to be custom. . .

You're not going to easily find a 24T BMX chainwheel. 25:9 is the "most compact" gear combo currently availible for BMX bikes.

Danscomp.com has one of the better selections on the net. . . .
