    bike protection tape

    do you guys use this stuff. I think its called leading edge tape, or helicopter tape? where can i get it cheap? does it work?

    Works very well. Frameskin makes a product called Framewrap, it's really nice but kind of expensive. If you go to autozone, you can get this stuff called stretch n' bond tape. It's a self bonding rubber tape. It has no adhesive, it just bonds to itself. It costs about 6 bucks a roll. There are a lot of different things people use, and most work quite well. I look at it this way, if I can protect critical parts of my frame for practically next to nothing, I am going to.

    Monofilm sail tape. WIndsurfing shop carry it. Its clear, very sticky and durable.

    check the price on the 3/4"x30' roll and you'll see why i buy this type instead of the one you listed. also, because it is for high voltage, it's fairly thick.
