    Bike park in early May??

    Hi there,

I will be traveling to Chicago on the week beginning May 9 and will have 2 days on Thursday and Friday (12/13 May) for some fun.

I've had a look at some bike parks linked in the reviews section and can only see that Plattekill will be open on that time (but only on the weekends).

Does anyone else know a bike park that would be open at that time? I had a look at Rays and it would have been awesome but is closed two weekends before I arrive...

    Thanks,
    Peter

Nothing really opens midweek until Memorial Day Weekend. After that there will be several resorts open midweek.

Two days to travel to an East coast bike park from Chicago and ride is not gonna happen. (period)

Chicago has a growing dirt jump scene that might be worth checking out. The Garden jumps and Plainfield bike park are two legit public parks.

Thanks guys, I'm willing to get a flight and hire a car if need be!

I'll be flying in from Australia and won't be taking a bike with me, so rental at a bike park is a must

You can fly into Manchester NH easy enough and Highland is 40 minutes away. They're open 10 am to 5 pm on the 13th. I live nearby so if you need any info or anything I can probably help.
