Is Bender taking it too far???

What do you guys think? Is the 100ft. cliff drop getting to be a little too extreme? Is Bender taking it too far? I support him in whatever he does and chooses to do, but I just want to know your opinions.

this is what i think about bender, its awesome that he progresses as a rider and pushes the sport to new limits, thats just his style of riding and what he enjoys. i think he should go as big as he wants. my style is different because i ride alot more then just hucking, but thats me and what i like to do. i support him because hes doing what he loves to do, and hes progressing

It depends, in my opinion, on how big hes gone before (successfully). Does anyone know that number?

Bender doing a 100' cliff is no riskier (or more stupid) than Rennie's 120' jump. Once you get into the realm of true "death defying" then it's all just degrees of insanity. More power to him.

Seems it would have been easier and taken less time to just answer the guys question.

As for Bender going too far...that will never happen...someone will always go bigger. I remember when wheelies used to be cool...now everything they do blows me away. 100 feet...I am good for about 60 or 70 on my motocross bike...so I cannot even imagine doing 100 on a DH/FR bike.

eh, im mixed between it. its awesome that he wants to do this, and considering no one else has tried it before it would be awesome. Even though the transition is very steep so its not like its to flat, if he didnt land it wouldnt he possibly kill himself?

Yeah there's a chance he could die. If the tranny is steep enough though and if he's wearing a lot of armour (which he will be) you could limp away from a crash. He walked away from a huge one at the Rampage last year.

KawBoy: You are good for 60-70 feet straight down on your MTX bike? I think you mean gapping 60-70 feet which is quite a bit less of an impact. Bender is talking about dropping off a 100 cliff on his bike.
