    New question here. BB Breaking?

I have a Truvativ Bottom braket and it keeps breaking. What should I do? I have replaced it 2 times.

what kind of cranks do you have with it? if it keeps breaking maybe go to something stronger... like the bones system or something.

what model truvativ is it? the gigapipe dh?

what does breaking mean? bearings wearing out? splines wearing out? axle snapping? how long has it lasted? did you get it warrantied? have you contacted Truvativ?....

    Bb

The spline is wearing down to nothing. It probably is the Crankset.

you were probably riding it with the cranks too loose. That'll damage the splines and the cranks. If your cranks are then damaged, you'll never get the proper fit and you'll ruin the BBs constantly.

ISIS splines are tapered (unlike Shimanos Octalink), so just like square tapered BB's, the proper preload is essential and should be checked especially after the first run(s) after install.

I would send both cranks and BB to Truvativ in case there was a defect with the cranks.
