BATMAN on my bike, Unwanted Passenger....anybody seen this happen before?

i was brawlin around campus last night when all a sudden pedaling got a lot harder, so I looked down and to my suprise, smashed inbetween my chaingrings and front derailer was a BAT !!! I've never seen anything like....except for a squirrel in someones discbrakes once haha. I couldn't believe a bat would actually try to steal my bike!! Obviously I won this battle!!" width="549"> " width="549">

seems strange, since pedaling would force him back out the other way....

That's nuts. I bet it had something to do with the sound of your bike or the spinning of the cranks throwing off the bat. They find their way around by timing echoes so I'm sure the bike screwed up it's sense of direction.

    those pictures = awesome

I was canoeing the other day and knocked a bat into the water off of a bridge piling. Bats can't swim too good.

I was riding back from my girlfriend's house and I bunny hopped over a curb, at the very same time a bat hit me in the chest, apparently it was flying straight at me.

I got dive bombed by a bat once also, coming back threw local trails late one evening. I was kinda weirded out about it so I've never spoke of it, but evidently it happens more often than I thought. Thankyou for helping me rid myself of this burden. Woooooosaahhhhh.

Bike hit the bird while it was on top of the car on the way to angel fire. Poor little bugger.
