I'll be posting mine soon as well. Just waiting on my adjustable post to arrive. I've got the brown version, with a custom made white 190lb spring

The frame is designed for a 565mm axle to crown.. i've got a 2006 66 Light on mine, 555mm, its on the edge, but great for trail riding. That front end ain't too low for ya??

because of the color? aren't the majority of fire hydrants yellow?? maybe you meant to say they remind you of a fire truck, or perhaps a fire ant, which are more likely to be associated with the color red.

I bought the bike used, so unfortunately I didn't have anything to do with choosing the current color scheme. I personally would never think of rockin red atomlab pedals.. but hey, whatever. To each his own, and to me a new ryde.

action shots and videos to come....

Corsair can get you -1 degree headset cups for the frame...keep that nice low front end, but slacken it another degree.

it does feel a little steep and low for my liking, but i got a steal of a deal on the complete, so new fork is definitely on the list.

search for "fire hydrant" on google images, almost all that come up are red. Don't leave your bike around any unattended dogs

this bike just needs a tough fork to match the 7" of rearward travel. the 6" fork is really restricting the bikes capabilities!

i reckon it rides best with an 8" dual crown.
