    Anyone try Gusset pedals?

I'm looking at picking up a pair of platforms to go along with my Mallets and I was wondering if anyone has tried the Gusset SlimJims or Inka's. I'm leaning towards them, a lot on looks which can be pretty misleading. One good reveiew on them, but not longterm. I don't like the look of many other pedals.

Also, what's a decent looking shoe for sorta cheap that might work well with these?

Whats with caring about how stuff looks? Get some decent (not vans) skate shoes, cant help with the pedals as I have only used aircorps.

What's wrong with Vans? I like my XL3s and they're cheap.

DC, Etnies, Emerica, etc now have STI tested shoes. Really cool stuff, quality too.

Nothing wrong with the real ones with gum soles, was thinking about the big box store, single stitched, rigid soled ones

kinda like those? i just bought a pair today and the first thing i did was try them on the bike..super comfortable, and the waffle cone sole is awesome!!
I went to the doctor and told him "hey doc, it hurts when I go like this" and the doc said "Does the rear feel too soft?"

if your going for exotic, then get the gussets. but if you want some inexpensive pedals that are tuff as hell and sticky like flies on shlt, try the sealed kona jackshit's or the easton cully's (a little more expensive than the kona pedals). i rock both of them bad boys and would never switch to another....
