    Almost done...

OK, not really...but it's beginning to feel like it.

This is what I have/ordered so far:

Frame: Mountain Cycle San Andreas DHS
Fork: '01 Marzo Z1 Sport RV
    Headset: FSA Pig Pro DHS
    Seatpost: Thomson Elite
    Saddle: Love Seat
Stem: Azonic ORS (hard to pass up something like this under $10)
    Brakes: Avid BB-7 203mm front/rear
    Levers: Avid Speed Dial 7
    Tires: Maxxis Minion DH 26" x 2.35"

I'm pretty amped about it and can't wait to get it together... but I still need:

    Complete Drivetrain
    -BB
    -front derailleur
    -rear derailleur
    -cassette
    -crank
    -shifters
    -chain
    -cables

    Brakes
    -cables

    Wheels!
    -hubs
    -rims
    -spokes

    The rest
-pedals (Azonic A-frame or Zu Zu's...mixed reviews about durability for both...)
    -grip (ODI lockon?)

I'd like to get all the above in the $240-340 price range -- not a penny over $340 (edited because I just bought some BB-7's). If I had to prioritize my purchases, it'd go something like wheels > drivetrain >>> accessories. A full-XTR drivetrain definitely won't be necessary (or possible...) and I feel like I can get great value/deals on XT parts or possibly even "lesser" ones.

So...any ideas on what to get? Keep in mind my budget... Thanks in advance guys.

    Forgot to mention:

Singlespeed is definitely NOT out've the question. I've been flirting with the idea of SS for awhile and I'd definitely be willing to experiment with a SS setup.

if you decided to run that frame ss i highly rec. a chainguide and a chain tensioner. Bit of chainstretch thru the travel on that badboy. Sounds like a sweet build though man. Enjoy it.

oh, and I'm not sure what crank your gonna end up with, but a 107 bb sounds a little short. You might be better off with a 113.

    Just purchased:

    Avid BB-7's 203mm front & rear!
    set of Speed Dial 7's...

could've gone with the '06 160mm set at PricePoint, but somehow that ended up being more $$ than the '07 203mm's at Cambria... good deal? Yeah I think so
