    Aftermarket Gustav Levers???

OK so the last thread on this topic died and I'm now in need of some aftermarket levers for my new Gustavs. I dig the calipers but can't stand the levers. Too long and I need the reach(throw) to be in closer to my bars.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My arm pump thanks you in advance.

Somebody spotted Sabrina or some other girl pro on gustav calipers attached to luise levers. Maybe that would work and be a bit different.

BTW. You are nuts, the gustav levers are the most comfy lever I know.

I'd love 'em to work but for my hands they just don't. I'll look into the conversion you mentioned.

Yeah, any OEM or aftermarket lever that will fit the Louise will work.

I used to have a set of Dangerboys on mine. But you would have to find old stock, since DB is belly up.

I run the louise levers on mine and love it - perfect one finger braking.

There is also a mod you can do to the "stop" on the lever that will allow it to be pulled in closer to the bar. Contact Magura USA and they will give you the 411.

How is the throw adjustment with the Louise levers? I like them to adjusted pretty close to the bars when pulled in.

I have mine so they are jsut under 1/2" away from the bars when pulled. I think I could get them in a bit more if needed. Biggest thing is the hook is super comfy for 1 finger braking.
