    60mm Direct Mount Stems

Anyone make a 60-65mm direct mount stem? I like the feel the longer stems give me. I think it's because my bars are closer to front axle. I know ENVE makes a 60 but that's insanely expensive. Truvativ makes one too but I absolutely hate their products...

Anyone else make longish direct mount stems? I heard SIC used to make one but they aren't in business anymore.

Are you turning your new Jedi into a XC/trail bike?

My badboy's done...all except the Emerald reshimming. Sorry it's so dark, but it was shot during a snow storm.

haha, no pau11y. i just have unsually long arms and prefer a longish stem. Not really a big deal though. I can ride shorter stems with no problems.

mines almost done. Had to get a new chainring, mine somehow got slighly bent?? also forgot to order the rear brake caliper adapter.

    Thomson Elite DM 60mm?

This lenght is listed on some webshops for Thomson Elite DM stem, but might be an error? Thomson's own website does not list this size...

yea, i thought they only made a 40 and a 50. They offer a 50 and a 50 mm with 10 mm drop. Maybe the 10 mm drop accounts for additional reach on very slack head angles...not sure by how much though. I guess I forgot my trigonometry.

How about your seat post, are you using one that has a rearward offset? You being new to the Jedi, the bike/rider position tends to be more of a rear wheel biased one. May be try a 50mm stem along with a 1" offset post?
