    4 foot drop and WHACK!

Hey guys! Last weekend I was at the middle school in my town and I did this 4 foot loading dock drop to flat like 10 times in a row, no problems (on my tricked out bmx'r ), then comes the 11th time.... POW! Cracked the frame, whoa, i didn't get hurt though (knock on wood) Both good and bad... GOOD: New bike to come soon! woo hoo! BAD: no bike to ride right now !! So, I'm looking to get a new mtb to replace my old bmx'r. I like to ride around my town, school, and other spots where i do stairs and drops and stuff like that, and I occasionally hit up some little dj's here and there w/ some small trails n stuff. What do you guys think is good $600 ht that I could use for that stuff? Obviously, $600 isn't a lot to spend on a FR rig, but you know, it's all I got right now so i'll have to make do... It's not gunna be great, this i know, but I do want something comfortable and sturdy with hopefull 100mm+ for a front fork. I've looked at Haro 8.1 and some other stuff from specialized, jamis, trek, and some other brands... Any suggestions on a COMPLETE FR HTs would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance guys!

    Happy biking!!

    That's easy...

Evil DOC. And it's under $600, but they are not shipping just yet. Take a look at:

    Opie,

Your pants are falling down. You may want to pull them up, either that or not let your undies ride quite so high. Wow, a chick that drops off loading docks, that's hot....or are you a school boy who likes to wear thongs? BTW, we all love snuff porn, so lets see the breakage pics!
    Peace out! War In!

P.S. Any thoughts of the Haro 8.1, I can get one VERY cheap...

I would say go for the P2, i picked up an '04 for 650 and it is worth every penny. The fork is weak but definetly handle 4 foot drops. Happy riding and go for the P2.

They are nice (esp the Cowan, you can swap the adj. vert dropouts for thru axle), also Norco has a few very street/dj oriented options, some fairly cheap:
