One solution is to just buy liners and then use the shorts of your choosing over the top. I wear surf trunks and other random shorts all the time, works great.

http://www.spectrumtechwear.com/ is a good place to get longer shorts. They have some that are available in regular length & longer lengths. http://www.spectrumtechwear.com/Thre.../WS/wilson.htm
Plus they are riders and not just wannabe's they are the real deal. These shorts are "th' stuff"
The Wilsons are named after the area we love the most around here, Wilsons Creek. Whoopty, Whoop.

    Check out Sombrio Rev Moto.
Good fit, comfy and durable. Maybe not the cheapest over there?

I gots both the Race Face & Enduras. The Race Face are sick; great material, great fit, great pockets. The Enduras are good too; more comfy and lighter material.

Coupled with MX socks you may look nearly as good as wearing your girlfriend's capris.

What size ace Face 3/4 did you get. I am 6'2'' and about 155lbs 33'' waist, I was thinking the MEDs would be okay any tips?

Can't remember, but according to their size chart M should be fine for a 33" waist. Note there isn't much adjustability with the waist though.
