    2005 race bike concern

    I have pretty much decided on a Gemini 3000 for 05 DH racing. My problem is I am very concerned about the color scheme. As a 70's child I really like the mocha brown/ saffron orange color scheme but I am very concerned that it just won't be as fast as the seimens black/red/grey scheme. I noticed that Cannondale calls the black/grey bike their race series. The brown bike looks like a great freeride bike but I just don't know about racing it. I know a few years ago the Rootbeer Bullits were doing well but I think that was mainly as FR bikes. Did anyone out there race them? I always thought that red was the fastest color but the other day I saw an add for Ironhorse and Sam Hill said green was 5 seconds faster. I'm more confused than ever.

    Scuba yellow may still be the fastest. I am hoping raw alum with a clearcoat give me the extra edge...
    The Super T you have is really a very good fork. I'd take that fork over a Fox 40 or a Boxer unless i was entering a fashon contest instead of a race

    Yellow=Old technology
    Green=New technology

    simple as that, technology progressives and green has been scientifically proven to be faster. just like pink is actually stronger than brown used to be.
