2001 Heckler vs current model - differences?

I've been seeing an add for a 2001 Heckler for a very reasonable price.

Can anyone tell me if there are any significant differences between the 2001 model and the current model? I know they stopped and started production at some point between then and now, but I don't know if there was a significant re-design or not.

The Heckler was re-designed from the older model. The frame has more travel, 5" from 4" and is significantly beefier in construction. The new model also comes with a spv valved shock to reduce bob while riding.

    Old and New

They are totally different bikes. Ok in a nut-shell the old Heckler became the Superlight, and the New heckler is slacker, beefier, and more of a trail bike. I race Pro 4X/DS on an 05 Heckler and love it. It came with a Pro Pedal Float and it pedals way better than it did with a coil on it. Old=XC New=Trail Bike or 4X/DS.

The Super T you have is really a very good fork. I'd take that fork over a Fox 40 or a Boxer unless i was entering a fashon contest instead of a race
