    2.7 DH Tire

What is a good DH Tire for the front that can be used on hard ground with a loose top level? I have a mobster right now, but it can not hook up, I just keep going faster and I can not stop or corner.

    Any suggestions?

Check out maxxis.com, I dont know any specific tires but usually beside each picture it will tell what the tire is good for (hard pact, mud, loose over hard pact ect.)

those type of conditions are probably the worst, even over mud since its very unpredictable (rather than 100% crappy). I'm almost thinking a narrower tire would work better, but then again, i still havent found a solution myself (i get 1 set of tires a year for about 3 different seasonal trail conditions).

idk my highroller seemed to do really good today on the loose hardpack stuff thats over at tar river in the playground although my kinda was slidin all over the play if i ever leaned it. but the HR might have just been doing good cause it was on the rear.

    2.7 dh tire

The Intense 909's are an awesome dh tire under most conditions as long as you don't run to much air pressure, these are such a hard side wall tire you can get away with lower air pressure. I have found that they want to wash out on the corners if over inflated
