    170mm or 200 mm travel?

    hey instead of buying a new complete bike i changed my mind to customizing one. So i do mosty freeriding and sum downhilling. Im gonna buy a marz 888 rc fork. Which legth of travel would you guys recomennd and why? 200 or 170

    what frame are you looking at? body weight? these could be helpfull.
    Looking for a 7.87 x 2.25mm shock, any brand any age that runs well!! cheap would be appreciated!

    06 stinky primo frame i am 510 165. I want some growing room too.

    All the 2006 stinkys come with a 170mm fork. What ever you feel you want. not a whole lot of difference. 200mm if you're all about drops, 170mm if you are pedaling too. (200mm can pedal and 170mm can huck, it's just one is a little better each discipline). I would get a 170mm(but I'm only 5'6 120 lbs. I would get a 200mm to match a different frame though like demo 8 or 9. If you could afford it though, I would get a '06 888. they got the flat crowns and I read something about the '06 200mm is shorter than a '05 170 mm. well thats my 2 cents. Keep us posted on your build, I'd like to see how it turns out.
