What exactly are you trying to do? If you have an 8 speed drivetrain 11-34 is going to be too big of a jump. And for DH/FR, you don't really need a 34 tooth cog. My biggest cog is 26 teeth and it is money. Why don't you just lock the 1st 1 or 2 gears out?

i use my bike 80% dh/fr and 20% anything else im often on the first or last gear wishing i had more range but i dont really need 9 spd. most of the time i double shif so i really use like 5 or 6 gears and its annoying to have to go trew 9 spd when i slow down on technical stuff also i think 8 spd chains are stronger so thats why i want such a casette but its not big deal too if its so hard to find ill stick to 9 spd

You're not going to be able to set up a 5 or 6 speed cassette with the range of a 9 speed one. The jumps will be too large.
