Ok, Bender was planning on doing the 100 footer in january before he broke his back. I assume that the whole broken back thing has altered his plans a little because he still has yet to do the drop. Now by broken back, don't go thinking of a severed spinal cord or anything like that. Bender's injuries were not paralysizing.

Someone mentioned that the Discovery channel's "Stunt Junkies" episode that featured Bearclaw, was origionally supposed to be for Bender's 100 footer. I can't verify that so don't take my work on it.

If the landing was steeper he could have had it. On his second attempt, he did acually stick the bike to the ground, the suspension just rebounded and bucked him off. Reguardless a 100 ft drop sounds almost impossible.

Ya we could play the what if game all night. fact is that it was a pretty good lander and the bike just couldnt take it. so as everyone is saying, there will be no 100 foot drop on a mountain bike for a long long time

I saw a pic of the hit he was looking at, and not only was it an 80-100' drop, it was a 60-80' gap. It was HUGE. I highly doubt anyone is gonna send it anytime soon

Well.. He broke his back, Banshee dropped him, he sold his Canfield, and now he rides an Ellsworth. Nope, don't see it happening any time soon.
