Hell ya! Brown/Puke/Dirt/Poo color is the new pink, which was the new black.

    Almost as hot as me!

I think it is so funny that Brown = Poo. All of my desks are Poo colored...
and the coffee table. And most of my khakis. And lets not forget my collection of Poo colored shoes.

Anyways, I love that Poo colored helmet and I must know what it will cost and when I can buy it.

I'm totally down for blk helmets... I have a custom painted blk one now (I feel a new thread coming on....), and the sky blue/brown one from last year was my choice for a new helmet, but I think I'll hold out for the blk/gold OR the "poo" brown one that is coming out... SICK helmets all the way around though.

Why come they's always coming out with cool **** after I already bought it.!?

I dont even think it's worthy of your Helmet Pic thread, MM.

I realised yesterday that the old full face sitting in my garage from my old BMX days is a giro remedy. It still fits as well.

How come these are so much cooler than my fruity red/black striped Remedy from last year. Mine looks like it came from 97,not 07. But at least it saved my scalp yesterday

hey man, dont think that! i personally think that the red/white onefrom 07 looks pretty dashing. us mtn bikers tend to get really caught up on the ' Ooo wow that model looks amazing! what year is it?... o its not the current year?! ' and somehow that loses the value!

on another note, im currently debating between a Giro Remedy CF or a TLD D2 Composite Shell.. i mean they're around the same price,

anyone know how much the D2 weighs? according to some spec i found around the net, the 08 giro remedy CF weighs in a 900g whilst the regular model weighs in at 1050g (.33lb difference). but does anyone know of the weight of the TLD D2 lids? that would probably be the determining factor for me!

i guess im kinda thread jacking here, but im in the ballpark and keeping this thread alive!

I wouldn't pay extra just for the carbon.. fit and ventilation would come first in my list.

yea i completely agree there, but it doesnt hurt to lose a little bit of extra weight. my neck gets tired and stiff quite easily, so i think i'll need to pamper it

    so anyways,
anyone know which is lighter? the remedy CF or the TLC D2 (non-CF version)

o just found a site.. stating that the TLD D2 non-CF version
weighs in at 1.1115kg -- or 2.45 lbs

    while on another site..
900g or 1.98lbs for the Remedy CF
    and
    1050g or 2.31lbs for the Remedy (non-CF)

hmm looks like the TLD regular version is heavier than the remedy's non-CF! may have to rethink things.. i'll go look at a fitting soon enough

You are saving like 100 grams at most and paying the double or triple... if your neck gets tired too often try a neck guard, that should help out a bunch.

Or how about just letting your neck muscles build up, probably would take a week of riding an hour a day with the FF on.

And that's coming from someone who just bought a CF 661 Evolution

good advice there, but i think itd be a bit too hot for me, and wouldnt like the feeling of feeling so crammed in. thing is, spending that extra bit, if i can feel the difference, im guessing would be worth it, seeing as how necks cant support too much weight anyways (with respect to other muscles..)

hahhha. seeing as how i've been going with a bucket until now, i think adding any full face will be plenty

I'll be the guy at N* this weekend with the "poo" colored one. Normally a flat black kind of guy(my Xen is...) but changed it up for this one. Don't make too much fun of me, at least not for the helmet. My downhill skills are severely lacking, so laugh all you want on that accord, just not my fashion sense...

I cracked my '08 Remedy on my second day of riding it I guess I can't complain, as it did do its job...but still...
I'm looking somewhere else when I finish wiping my tears over this one.

Oh yeah, anyone know how I required stitches on my NOSTRIL while wearing a FULL FACE? Every single one of the pros at SGC, the doctors at the ER, and my friends were completely baffled... weird eh? I think it was the inside of the helmet...
