    '05 Manitou Dorado?

I've heard some of the later 200mm SPV Dorados have issues, but what about the ones that are not SPV, like the 180mm one on the Giant DH Team? Anything to watch out for?

you'll fine really mixed opinions about the dorado, I had my 04 for a few months before I had to send it in to Manitou, then after a few rides it was busted again. But I've also heard people who love them and say they've had no problems in seasons of use. Either way they are a high maintenance fork, and Manitou doesn't make parts for them anymore, so thats also an issue. As for the SPV vs no SPV I've no idea.

The 2004-2005 SPV Dorados had major issues. Stay away. The TPC+ ones are fine. Heavy, but fine.
