    04 Shiver SC vs. 03 Sherman Firefly TA

    which one is better for urban/dj/freeride/park?

    The Sherman will be approximately 6,359.12 times stiffer than the Shiver SC.

    i have a psylo xc qr now, shiver will be stiffer then that

    Yep, just saying that the Sherman will be noticably stiffer than the Shiver. 2mm bigger stanctions, and an extra arch will make any fork stiffer.

    Also, I like the rapid travel adjustment on the Sherman that you can use for park/urban/dj - knocks the fork down to 4" and makes it a bit stiffer.

    you cnat ride the sherman in the 4" mode, tis made for climbing only, no impacts at all.

    Untrue. I don't ride urban in anything but 4" mode, and a bunch of guys on Ridemonkey chimed into a thread about this saying they rode it all the time in 4" mode as well.

    Can it break? Yes. But that doesn't mean it will.

    this might have changed on the 04s, but manitou themselves recommended to not ride "aggressively" in the 4" mode.
