    $7100 06 Specialized bikes?

    What the....?

    The SWorks Stumpy and Epics?

    http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCBkM...id=06SWorksMTB

What's going on around here? Ok, I know it's carbon, and it's new, but still....are you kidding me? Are there really ppl out there that look at that bike, and think that's the one for them, and plop down a credit card?

I bought my Ford Explorer a couple years ago for $7900. Let's see - mtn bike or SUV? That's a toughy!

    Thoughts?

I think they'll be mainly so some one can prove they have more money than you.

    New question here.

I know , what happened ?? We're talkin aboot mass produced bikes ya?? Not custom fabbed one of s or any thing - someone pull the crack pipe away from specialized and tell um that the real people who ride bikes might actually want one
I sense the FEAR... the fear of what you don't understand-

Exactly.....who would ever spend that much on a vehicle
Bart with $10,000 we'd be millionares. We could buy all sorts of valuable things...like love.

Rediculos. Over priced, Over-hyped, and not even made in the US. No wonder i never have and never will own a bike from specialized.

i agree, specialized is over priced, but the reason i believe why that bikei s 7 grand is becausei ts carbon fiber. cool bikes, i like em. but i agree, specialized can be extremely over priced.
