    No. SSV damping is crap. It's basically a ported orifice. It lacks adjustment and it spikes like crazy over the fast stuttery stuff.

    if you;r a newb, it might be good to learn on, though you would rapidly outgrow it... or bust it.

    meh, I'm riding it right now on the G-Spot I built up while I'm waiting on my Super T to be rebuilt. Definitely not the same as my 888, but you are unlikely to find a better deal (except when they had a 888 for $100 more).

    agreed! There is a reason why that fork is on sale for such a cheap price.... it's a poor performing fork and overly stiff.

    Overly stiff? If anything it blows through it's travel too easily
