    Maxle for an Alum Atlas

Thanks for reading. My buddy recently purchased an Atlas but would like to swap the rear wheel bolt to a maxle. What is the correct sizing and would someone be willing to post a link to one.

    I thought it was 12 x 142 but he keeps saying 187

    thanks

You need the 12 x 142 RS maxle designed for SplitPivot. The true length might be 187, but ut is the hub which measures 142mm. This is the RS productnumber: 00 4318 005 013

I think mine was originally a Trek spec part.
