    max tire size on Troy

What's the fattest tire you guys have put on the back end? Looking to give it some cushion for the pushin.

Interested in this too. I was slipping around on some of our techy climbs today (also in ATX) and thinking a bit more patch would be nice.

Side note - your feedback in the Troy thread helped me pull the trigger on a closeout a few weeks ago so thanks!

Devinci support told me that 2.3 was the widest, but it looks like there's room for more.

Cy, that's good to hear! I'm still in love with my Troy, it's such a great bike. Right now I have an Ardent 2.2 and it looks like I might be able to go 2.4

How do you like the Ardent and what rims are you running? My OEM Hans Dampfs feel surprisingly loose, though I haven't converted to tubeless yet to run lower pressures.

The Ardent is great. I'm using Flow EX's. They have great traction and they're fast compared to many other tires I've tried. I know they're faster than most other tires, because I always pass my buddies when we're riding down a road....less rolling resistance.

Did use HD 2.35 on ibis 741, no problem with clearance.

Woody I'm running a 2.4 ardent on a derby rim, still have enough room for a finger under the arch.

You guys think a maxxis dhf 2.5 would fit? Anyone know if the 2016 Troy has more (or less) clearance?

Not seen the 2016 yet, but with boost on the rear, it should have more room. I ran HD 2.35 on Ibis 741 wheels on my Troy. No problem!
