django rear EVOL tune change to Race instead of Trail?

Thinking of changing django's rear shock tune. I'm 155-160 pounds, a xc background, and while I know the bike is a trailbike with great antisquat and pedaling characteristics, I'd like a little more XC tune. Sag is 25% but still too soft in the early parts of travel for explosive and powerful climbing situations. Again: I know it's a trailbike, not a XC racer.

The shock's compression tune is Light with Medium rebound.

Anyone know how the bike would behave with a medium tune?

Have you ridden it with the shock in the trail position? Maybe experiment with less sag.
