    Devinci Atlas Carbon?

Any of you guys have seat time on one of the new Devinci Atlas Carbon 29ers? I am very interested in one and canít find many review on them. I have ridden and owned a few similar bikes but never one with similar geo to it. From the geo numbers the head angle and seat tube seem steep, wheelbase short and when the adjustable geometry chip is placed in the low position the BB height is super low(12.87in). I feel like the bike would ride best in the high geo position with an angle set to reduce the head angle by -1 to -1.5 degrees.

    Any input from you guys?

Have you read this thread? http://forums.mtbr.com/29er-bikes/de...on-842785.html

Also, the Atlas requires an integrated headset so you won't be able to use an Angleset.

    Why is that an issue?

An integrated headset uses bearings that seat directly into the frame. There are no cups to press in or install. The Angleset is not available to fit frames that use that headset style.

If you want to use an Angleset, the frame needs to either use a headset with external cups, zero-stack cups or a combination. https://www.canecreek.com/products/headsets/angleset

The OP doesn't like the geo and wants to use an Angleset.

So I bought this bike in October and have been having perma-grin ever since. I had never ridden a 29er previously and had heard bad reviews of their sluggishness. Not so on this ride, nothing but awesomeness. This bike truly climbs better and allows me to glide over stuff at my nearby park that I always had trouble clearing. Never had a bike like this - one review said "I forgot I was on a 29er" - done that!! This bike is definitely worth every penny in my opinion, loving it!!
